Appeared in the 1890's in North America and West Europe, we can say it was the renesaince of body piercing, and body decoration.
The eyebrow piercing is one of the most accepted one by the society. The reason of its wearing is the aestethics and to emphasize the form of the face. The time of healing is short.
Can be weared either on left or right side, and an extreme way is wearing it in both sides. It's weared by ledies and gentlemans too.
About its form we can say that it is a short one (6-10 mm), curved medical steel or titanium, but the ring or horseshoe is also often weared.
It can be easily changed, mostly the 2 tops of the curved shaft, fallowing the actual trend ( colored balls, stones, spikes).
